Audi A5 S-Line With Audi Drive Select – The Silver Bullet
Apr 6
“Do you have it in silver?” I remember when I heard this question with almost everyone of my clients. Silver was a top runner in the choice of colors for their new car. Today I don’t hear the request for the light silver as much; it is still a color people consider but usually with a variant such as a gray or charcoal. I have always thought that silver was a very traditional and strong color, not only because it is very easy to maintain, but because it reminds me of the vintage race-cars where the body was left the raw color of the aluminum. I think every car and every driver suits their own color combination and their choices can be a strong reflection of the driver. If you take a look at autoblog.com you will see what the most popular colors of 2008 were and what colors were ahead of silver on the list. No matter what anyone says, this silver A5 looks great, especially when it is paired with the S-Line package. Like I mentioned before, every car and every driver suit a certain color and this A5 suits silver just perfect.

Awesome car and it’s about time we see some great comments and coverage on this model. It ends up getting shuffled aside because of the S model.
Nice pics BTW

Big fan of the A5/S5 (and Audis in general) but why does Audi illuminate the passenger airbag light off when no one’s sitting in the seat? If you’re driving solo, the light becomes an annoyance. Should only be lit if a child of a certain weight is in the seat (a la BMW)
