Audi Q5 – Changing The Crossover

February 9, 2009

After seeing the Q5 in person for the first time I am very impressed and from the feedback at the Autoshow, so is everyone else. There was a continous crowd of people gathered around the Q5 for the entire 4 days we were on hand at the Portland Convention Center. The feedback from the public was very strong and their opinions of the Q5 and the Audi Brand as a whole was a positive view. The Q5 was very solid feeling, standard equiptment was impressive and as expected the design, shape and proportions exceeded my expectations. Though the look of the Q5 beautiful, it was also exceptional when I sat behind the wheel and found the visability to be great, leg room ample and cargo and cabin compartments very spacious. Audi has done it again. They have taken design and versatility and balanced them perfectly. I would like to thank everyone for stopping by and saying hello and giving me the opportunity to showcase the Audi line up. If I can answer any questions feel free to Contact Me. I belive that in the next 2 years Audi will have the ability to introduce as many Q5’s into the market as the A4, so no matter what you want, Audi will have something for you. Again I would like to thank everyone who made it out and over the next few weeks I will bring you more comprehensive reviews on the Audi Q5.

I sent you an email, I am curious about the color of the Q5 in the picture… is it Meteor Gray, and does that color have a hint of blue?

From Bill Wade on February 10th, 2009 at 3:46 pm

Bill,
Yes the color of this Q5 is Meteor Gray and depending on the lighting there is blue hints. In the Sun or under lights the blue stands out, but when it is cloudy or the lighting is low the color is much more gray.

It is Definitely a beautiful color combination, and the one for me..

hey Scott

what’s your favorite color for the Q5? what are the top 3 popular colors for the Q5?

From sidney on June 28th, 2009 at 1:13 am

Sidney,
If you ask me the same question tomorrow my answere will change, just like my favorite Audi my opinion changes daily. Right now I would say our top sellers are black and white and I really think the Q5 looks nice in Quartz Gray. All that being said Meteor Gray, Red, Blue and Silver are very refreshing colors because they are not quite as common.

I have a beautiful Garnet Red with cardamom beige interior. Certainly draws attention!
