As an option on most Audi’s the Bang & Olufsen sound system is an upgrade from the already great Bose sound system. The Bose sound system has 14 speakers and 255 watts as well as an 8 channel DSP amplifier producing a very pure sound. However, if you are looking for the ultimate listening experience while you drive, the Bang & Olufsen is the only way to go. With 14 B&O insulated speakers, 10 amplifiers and 1,000 watts, you will have not only the most rich sounding stereo system on the market, but also the most beautiful. Each of the 14 speakers is encapsulate by a aluminum cover. When the ignition is turned on in the A8, S8 or Q7 equipped with the B&O system the first thing you will see is 2 tweeters rise from the dash on the front passenger and drivers side dash. After that visual stimulation choose a song and enjoy the sound of this state of the art sound system working for you.

The B&O in my R8 is FAR superior in sound to the Bose in the TT. No pop-up tweeters in the R8, tho :(
