At long last it is Friday again friends! Though it technically isn’t Friday for us, we still are very much attached to Fridays and would love nothing more than to skip out of work early, catch the last little bits of sun before the rain starts, yet again, and take this bad ass Audi R8 for a spin – anywhere that would have us! We know we’re not along in this dream of ours, but sometimes it feels like it’s just that little bit too far out of reach. Anyone else feel this way?! Well before all those weekend chores start to set into place and you find yourself mowing the lawn, or cleaning the garage, or any other task that might seem daunting right now – take a deep breath and imagine yourself ready to hit the track, full tilt, leaning into the curves with this machine under your seat; we guarantee it won’t be so bad then! We don’t really have to say why we love it, we think it’s pretty obvious – but just in case anyone out there needs some swaying, there is something about this picture that we just can’t help but be somewhat memorized by. Call it the contrast of red and white, call it the bare naked leg starring back at us, call it the distinguishing factors that remind us this first generation Audi TT – call it what you like, but girls and cars, really need no explanation. There was a time when driving a wagon evoked thoughts of screaming children and soccer practices; wood paneling and so much stuff tied to the roof, you could be mistaken for the Griswold’s, and we’re sure there are a few folks who still believe this is the truth, but lets be honest, Audi makes having a wagon look good!! It really doesn’t get better than this. Not only can you pack up a bunch of rug-rats, or any of the above mentioned items – but in an Audi Avant, you can make it look sleek, sexy, and sophisticated.
