Bridge City – Portland Oregon – Fremont Bridge

Although I am an advocate for Sunset Imports, our local Portland Audi store, the city of Portland, Oregon is truly beautiful.

Opened to the public November 2nd, 1973, the Fremont Bridge is Portland’s newest bridge over the Willamette River. This amazing bridge has the longest main span of any bridge in Oregon and is the second longest tied arch bridge in the world. Routing Interstate 405 and US 30 traffic between downtown and North Portland where it intersects with I-5 this bridge is a main connection point in the Portland area.
