Audi’s Caught On Google Steet View – Where In The World!

Sadly I know I am not alone when I walk down the street and point out every car I like, especially an Audi . More than once people have stared at me while I take a picture of a car on the street… so to avoid the embarrassment, or actually to share some of it with everyone else, I am going to invite others to participate in the “Audi Google Street View Search”. This is an opportunity for others, like myself, to send in pictures of Audi’s they see on Google Street View and I will post it on “Audi Street View” for all to see. No matter where you are in the world, if you see an Audi on Google Street View, send it in and I will post it!

Portland Auto Show – 2010 Audi

In 2 weeks Sunset Imports, the exclusive Portland Audi dealer, will be on hand to display some of the 2010 Audi line up at the 2010 Portland International Auto Show. The Portland International Auto Show will be hosted at The Oregon Convention Center in the Oregon Ballroom between BMW & Mercedes. Sprint Blue Audi S4 // Going Into The New Year

It is a little embarrassing to post this after my last publication on “ Audi doing what Audi was made to do. I find myself taking pictures of this Sprint Blue 2010 Audi S4 from inside the showroom because I didn’t want to walk in the rain. So even though Audi is made for the elements and this sprint Blue S4 is drop dead gorgeous I am not so tough and and am afraid to get a little rain on my head. However hear you are, some pictures of the upgraded 19 inch wheel that looks better in person and this sweet Audi S4. And lastly I should point out the color of my link font, and why I have done so many links, it matches the car.

Audi Doing What Audi Was Made To Do.

I love to see people using the Audi product for what it was made for, to be driven! I sold this R8 just about a year ago and recently the owner and myself had a chat about how much he loves this R8, he loves the way it performs in slick conditions and how it just sticks to the ground. The Audi R8 is a vehicle that can be driven as a daily driver, and this picture proves that, even at the end of December.

The V10 Audi R8 in the snow, now you might ask why? And my response would be ‘Because it can” I watched this video and asked my self if I should share it and then Jeff a Portland local pointed out it would be perfect for the weather today, it is really coming down right now. Quattro Club // Quattrofest 2009 // Sunset Porsche Audi

It was supposed to be a rainy and cold day at the track on Saturday, but when I woke up it was beautiful outside, the perfect day for driving. Quattrofest started early and was held at PIR (Portland International Raceway) just south of Vancouver, Washington. Excited about getting to PIR I was out the door at around 7:30 and with a coffee in my hand, at the raceway only 20 minutes later. The parking lot at PIR was consumed with Audis and when looking a little closer at the cars I think it must have been a prerequisite to have a big brake upgrade on your car to be in attendance. Quattro Club members are enthusiasts, there is no question about that; but the level of passion for the product surrounded me with all the Audis and the attention to detail that had went in to preparing them for the track day. Every level of driver and machine was on hand from dedicated track cars brought in on trailer, modified street cars driven in with upgrades and stock cars.

Nothing impressed me more then the parents who brought their stock cars to the event for the teen driving clinic to help prepare the new drivers in the family for the responsibility behind the wheel of a car. With braking, skid pad and turning exercises set up in centerfield of the track, both the new drivers and the parents participated in the driving techniques. Don’t get me wrong, the excitement of the advanced drivers racing around the track was great, but I was amazed at the devotion of the parents and the support they had for the new drivers.

The devotion of the Quattro Club and Sunset Porsche Audi at Quattrofest is something that has to be admired, especially with the rain that came in the afternoon. Down pour would be an understatement but you couldn’t tell- the participants seemed oblivious. The more it rained, the better the driving seemed to get. After all, they don’t call it Quattrofest for nothing. If it were any other car out on the track that day it would have been treacherous; Audi is the safest and sure footed vehicle on the face of the planet, and the drivers knew it.

By the end of the first day everyone was ready for the banquette dinner at Salty’s on the water that evening, and they deserved it. The dinner started at 6:30 and was delicious. All the stories of the day were told and Sunset Porsche Audi was represented extremely well with both sales and service in attendance (along with our amazing wives to support the cause). With the Auction proceeds going 100% to the Quattro Club it was very successful and we have to thank the North West Regional Audi office and Sunset’s Parts and Service for their large contribution.

With the evening winding down Forza Motorsport 3 was introduced and played on the large screen. This game just raised the bar for all motor-sport games! Thank you Forza for being part of Quattrofest! 2010 R8 4.2L – On The Floor At Sunset Audi

At Sunset Audi we change our showroom around a lot, wether we want to or not. Every time we sell a car off the showroom floor we have to change things around to keep things fresh and flowing. It was early in the morning and I could hear the rumble that only the 4.2L R8 can make, time for the showroom floor. It is always nice to show such a nice car and with the black exterior and carbon blades, no one can disagree it looks stunning. Here is our view of the guys CAREFULLY….. bringing the R8 inside.

From the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep I am surrounded by service. The first thing in the morning I check Money.com and my email and there are advertisements everywhere online, it has began. My wife and I choose to go to Peets Coffee just off 23rd and our favorite dinner spot is La Buca in SE Portland and for a great drink we go to Vault Martini If you asked me what our favorite items on the menu were I could give you an idea but no specifics, however I could give you name names of those who give us the stupendous service (Thank you Rebekah, Liz, and Liz). The service that we receive and the smiling faces are the compelling reason we return time after time. I know that in the Automotive industry it is hard to find a comfortable atmosphere but I also know that Sunset Imports , the local Audi dealer in Beaverton Oregon makes your experience very easy. I want to say thank you to everyone who makes our choice to go to there establishment fun, relaxing and ultimately enjoyable because it really makes my wife and I appreciate the hard work you do(of course Bryan & Andrea from Audi Sportscar Experience are great Audi Brand representatives). Remember if you aren’t providing excellent service your business or the business you work ultimately suffers because your clients are not compelled to return. Make sure to treat the people you meet every day the way you would want to be treated if you had come in for something, the service you give really is more important than the product you are provide.

Its that time again and the entire sales department at Sunset Imports in Portland, Oregon are overwhelmingly excited, the new 2010 Audi S4 has been released! Now this is a very special time in history for Audi with everything going on in the industry, and Audi has stepped out of the box and really brought innovation and creativity to the table with this B8 S4. When I say Audi has stepped out of the box, I am referring to the idea that they are replacing the conventional theory of bigger is better and developing supercharger and unnatural induction. In the automotive world, displacement, number of cylinders and liters have always been equated directly to performance; but not any more. Audi, like with previous model S4′s, is getting back to its roots of forced induction and really putting that power on the ground with the new sports differential and Audi Drive Select. Take a look at the hard facts and you will see the new 2010 S4 is poised to be the leader in this segment. The question has to be asked, if the Audi S4 was always the BMW M3′s competition, what is to come from Audi? RS5 is on the tip of everyone’s tongue and I can’t wait to see it!
