I just got a 2012 A4 – synced Iphone 4s no problem … only question i have is will the bluetooth work for incoming calls when in screen lock mode? I got a call this morning and the car didnt ring the phone did but I was able to switch the call over to the bluetooth

If you buy the car from the dealer, they’ll throw it in if you ask for it. Dealer gave me mine (without asking) and I didn’t know what it was for until now.

A trailer weight greater than 3,000 lbs requires trailer brakes in nearly all states. At 4400 lbs rating, the Q5 would require a brake controller. Is the controller included in the factory hitch option? If not, is the wiring there to simply plug in a brake controller like the Prodigy, under the dash? The 7 wire plug shown in the photos suggests that at least the wiring is there.

John, did you ever find a solution to resolve this? I am having the same issues with a Thule 1600 Box…..it points up in front, rather than down. Not very aerodynamic.
