Jet Blue 2010 R8 – “You Never Told Me That ….”

Delivering an R8 is always a great experience for me because the client has usually been waiting anxiously for some time to get their new vehicle, this particular R8 was no different. After special ordering the Jet Blue R8 we were not sure if it was going to be a 2009 or a 2010 so when it showed up as a 2010, both the client and I were very excited. The first 2010 4.2L R8 that we had seen and with this color combination it was a real nice surprise. The next day I recieved a phone call from this new R8 owner, he said ….. “you never told me during the delivery ….” I replied, “I am sorry what did I forget to mention.” He laughed and said, “you never told me it would take me an extra hour to do everything, everyone wants to talk about the R8!” Without going into too much detail I will leave you all with a qoute from another satisfied Sunset Imports client, as well as some pictures I wanted to share…

It drives even better than it looks! Scott, you didn’t tell me, but I’m convinced they made some “under the radar” improvements in the v8 engine, because this car is definitely stronger at the low end (still breaking in, so can’t say about higher revs) and SOUNDS better than the ’08 v8 I drove @ the Audi Experience.
