Poll: What Audi Should We Get!?

Jan 10

Alright – so it is time for my wife and I to put our order in for a new Audi that should be here in the next 3 months and I wanted some feedback on what we should get… So if you had a choice of an A4 Avant or Sedan, Q5 3.2L or 2.0L, S4 S-Tronic or manual or an A3 quattro or TDI diesel; what would you get? Keep in mind we can have any color or option on the Audi (as long as it is available in the USA, bummer I know) we would like. i.e. Titanium package, sport package, Bang & Olufsen, Premium Package, Premium Plus Package or Prestige. Don’t go crazy here because we still have to make the payments, but your input counts towards our future car. Make sure to click the poll and leave feedback in the comments section. Thanks again – I am excited to see the results!

THIS POLL IS CLOSED – SORRY

Well I will say I voted purely on what I would get (from your list). It would help though know a little more about your use/needs as that may have swayed my vote to something else. I noticed that the S4 is the only full on sedan on the list. Maybe you really do need/want a wagon/hatchback. Not knowing though I’ld take the S4 🙂

depends on your storage requirements & driving habits. Personally I love the S4, sporty & safe. S4 avant would be optimal, or if they offered the A4 with something other than the 2.0T(bit weak for sportyness) I see no need for an SUV as primary car & the A3 is too damn small, should be offered as a 2dr only.

Mike & Clarke,
Both great points. I do love the S4, but also love the A4 Avant with the Titanium Package and I think that the versatility of a Q5 S-Line would be nice. But after all of that an A3 2.0T quattro with the sport package is economical, sporty and fun, I cant forget about the efficient TDI A3. My needs very each of these cars would work perfect for me and I still haven’t decided on color, I never knew I loved Audi so much that I would not be able to make up my mind.

Well, if you’re asking…

I think you should go with the S4 – Prestige manual in Phantom Black, Murder Style (like the December 14, 2010 Post) with the Black/Red interior. It’s a practical sedan with the ‘fun’ factor of Audi’s top line vehicles.

Do it!…It’s my dream car!

well you know me… I’m a wagon guy, so I say go for the A3, it’s sick as shit! Good luck with whatever you buy!

Scott,

you know my opinion; go with the A6 3.0T. Lots of car for the money and more practical than the S4, no offense to anyone. You’ll have no problem making a long road trip in the A6 without having to stop for stretching legs, etc. You know, I make 7-10 hour trips in my A6 all the time and I was between the Q5, S4 and the A6. Since the Q5 and S4 share the same plattform, both of them were too small in terms of leg room for me, personally. Trust me, the Q5 is very handy and it has a couple of extras that I am missing on the A6 prestige, i.e. electric folding side mirrors, parking sensors and panorama sunroof. Either way, you’ll get the best car with either model and especially Quattro!!!!!!
If you have to pick one of the ones you listed, I would go with the Q5 3.2 just because I really like the V6 engines and they run a little smoother. But you know all these things man. I am happy for you guys to get a brand new Audi, that is the bottom line!
We still have to do lunch next time we come to PDX. I will let you know.

Sorry but I forgot to leave my input regarding color;
Q5 in ibis white, Teak brown metallic or Meteor Grey with cinnamon brown interior
S4 in Ibis white or phantom black with black interior
A3 and A4 Avant in phantom black or Ice silver

From Klaus on January 12th, 2011

A4 Avant, 2.0T, all black, transmission is a personal thing really… but i’d go for the s-tronic. And the most important – RS4 wheels.

From Taylor427 on January 13th, 2011

Personally…the S4 manual, that is one sick looking machine and I’m sure the best of the bunch in driving experience. But for the family either the A4 Avant or Q5 3.2. Good luck on your choice I’m sure it’s not easy…

From Jon on January 15th, 2011

S4 Meteor Gray w/ Ti over Black/Silver Alcantara

From the right choice on January 19th, 2011
