Truth In 24 – Review
March 19, 2009
“Truth in 24 is sure to become a classic,” says Auto Week and now after seeing it, I couldn’t agree more. Last night I attended the North West’s premier showing of Truth In 24, a documentary put out by NFL films about the legendary 24 Hours Of Le Mans. Narrated by Jason Statham from The Transporter, and nominated for numerous awards I knew I could not miss this film.

This documentary on the Audi Sports Race Team and the people behind it could not be summed up with one word, but rather many emotions. I went from laughing, to suspense and even sadness and worry all over 90 minutes. The local favorite Peugot was the team to beat, though Audi was the true champion, they were the older and slower of the 2 teams. Whether you are a true race and motorsport enthusiast or not, Truth In 24 will not disappoint you. I will leave you with a quote from a client of mine who attended the pre-screening as well, “Great film! Probably the first motor racing film to come along that really captured the interest of my wife! Very well done.” The movie will air on ESPN March 20th, 2009 so make sure to check your local listings so you don’t miss it!

My husband set the DVR to record this film and something went horribly wrong. Is there any way to watch it again? We are in Portland, Oregon.
